Welcome to Day 4 in Sally’s Pie Week! Making homemade pie is always such a satisfying project and this one always impresses. This bourbon sweet potato pie sits in a crisp and flaky pie crust and tastes extra special with toasted marshmallow meringue on top. The filling is adapted from my brown sugar sweet potato pie and features hints of bourbon and vanilla with lots of cinnamon and spices. I actually made the pictured pie crust with a little whole wheat flour and LOVED the results. See recipe notes for instruction.
